Systems Integration

The Garnet River systems integration team designs, develops, and implements enterprise class architectures to run your business critical platforms, while improving manageability, reliability, and reducing cost of operations.

Every business is different and requires a customized set of tools to get the job done. Our expertise is as diverse as our clients’ needs in the areas of operating systems and servers, storage systems, data protection performance management and consulting.

Operating Systems and Servers

To ensure we can meet the needs of your environment we use products from Sun Microsystems, IBM, Dell, HP, VMWare, RedHat, and Novell, as well as the Open Source community.

Storage Systems

“Data grows to fill available space” is an axiom we’ve all heard. At the Enterprise level, this is even more true, and demands real enterprise-class storage systems to support it. To meet your storage needs we use and work with products from Sun/StorageTek, Hitachi, Dell and IBM.

Data Protection

Hardware fails. It is not a question of if... just when. Hardware is replaceable, your data isn’t. In order to ensure the long term survival of your business, you need to protect that data. We leverage various products including Symantec Netbackup and BackupExec, EMC Networker, and a wide variety of real-time or near-real-time replication options in concert with the Storage Systems in use.

Performance Management

Once an infrastructure is in place and running, how often is it then left alone to do what it was intended for? IT is a dynamic world of dynamic requirements, and making sure that it performs as is required of it is part of getting the best value out of your IT dollar. We highly recommend CA Wily Introscope and CEM products for long-term management of web application performance.

Consulting

Servers, Operating Systems, Storage, Tools, Applications, all are next to worthless without good design. Bringing to bear experts with 15+ years of experience to get it right the first time, whether we're talking about a mail server for a small business or a 50,000+ ft^2 datacenter, it what really sets Garnet River apart.
